Staging idea:

1) Meet and start at the BLM Fire station on Carpenter Canyon road at 9:00 am on
Saturday, April 19th.
2) >From the start to Wheeler Well (proposed lunch area) is roughly 21 miles.
3) >From Wheeler Well to to Wheelers Pass is roughly 6 miles round trip.
4) Back down Wheelers Road to Highway 160 south back to the starting point at the BLM
Forestation on Carpenter Canyon Road is roughly 22 miles.

Since most of the Forest Service folks will be riding with 4x4 Clubs and members,Dunes
and Trails would like to handle lunch at Wheeler Well by providing a BBQ of roughly the
following: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Potatoes Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans with some sweet
goodies of some kind.
Additionally we will provide cold soda, tea and water. The general plan is to take
donations at lunch to cover the cost and equally split anything that may be remaining
among the participating clubs equally.

It is estimated that about 15 members of the Forest Service will arrive and be riding with
the 4x4's. The Vegas Valley 4 Wheelers, Dunes and Trails ATV club are participation as
well as ourselves. Possibly we could have some riders needing a lift. Additionally the
Forest Service has expressed concern that too many vehicles on the trail at one time could
result in a negative effect (Dust congestion, etc). If we could count on 10 to 15
vehilcles that would be good!

Please advise me by phone or email if you plan to attend, I will be out of the state
starting Tuesday and back on Thursday.
